About the role

Managing a sizable team and ensure work carried out on our mechanical equipment is delivered to a high standard and on time. You will be a supportive and inspiring people manager, capable of building strong teams and coaching to build performance. You will ensure the completion of maintenance jobs to the highest level of safety, quality and effectiveness s at minimum cost to maximise equipment availability.

  • Other elements to the role include:
  • Applying preventative and predictive maintenance practices and contribute to plant improvements
  • Ensuring sustainable performance which is aligned to plant objectives, values and behaviours
  • Defining the medium and long term strategy for plant maintenance

What will you bring?

  • Degree level or equivalent, ideally in related discipline, be able to understand engineering and business principles
  • Technical knowledge of maintenance management
  • An experienced leader of teams
  • Cement industry experience preferable
  • Knowledge of ISO Standards and certification process
  • Experience of Financial management and budget control
  • Proficient in CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)
  • NEBOSH or IOSH would be advantageous
