Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team comprising internal colleagues and external specialist subcontractors.
- Overseeing the execution of highway and structures projects within the Worcestershire County Council framework.
- Exercising full ownership of projects, demonstrating unwavering commitment and a relentless drive for success.
- Managing site staff performance to achieve project goals and enhance productivity.
- Providing health and safety leadership to operational delivery teams, promoting behavioral safety improvements.
- Compliance with relevant HSE legislation.
- Ensuring the full discharge of policies and procedures within the Business Management System.
- Securing sufficient and competent resources for project delivery while effectively communicating project objectives.
- Developing and maintaining programs throughout the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to the contract program.
- Spearheading the project risk management process and establishing effective controls for project delivery.
- Identifying and realizing project opportunities to enhance commercial performance.
- HNC/HND qualification.
- Desirable experience in NEC Contract management.
- Essential experience in structures.
- Commercial acumen and strong communication skills.
